Tabb Group, a financial markets research and advisory firm, has hired Paul Rowady as a senior analyst. He will be based in Chicago and report to Adam Sussman, director of research.

Rowady has 20 years of experience in research, quantitative fundamental investment strategies, high frequency trading, automated event-risk management systems, front-to-back office operations and hedge fund management.

Larry Tabb, founder and CEO at Tabb Group, said in a statement, "Paul's 20 years of hedge fund industry experience on and off the trading floor will be a tremendous asset to our research and consulting client base."

Rowady has been a contributing analyst at Tabb Group since early 2009.
