StreamBase Systems said its complex event processing (CEP) software has been extended to connect to Chi-X Canada, the fully-anonymous alternative trading system for trading Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX)-listed senior equities. This offers a new venue on which StreamBase users can trade Canadian equities.

StreamBase's low-latency and high-throughput platform enables its clients to access a broader suite of equity exchanges and electronic venues in Canada with complete anonymity, superior low latency, greater liquidity and lower transaction costs, according to the CEP provider.
