RealTick Links to On Point’s Options Smart Routing

On Point Execution’s Sting smart order router for options is now an execution destination available on Townsend Analytics’ RealTick Execution Management System (EMS).
“We are front end agnostic and open to certifying with many front ends,” says Paul Carrozzo, managing member of On Point Executions. “We want the trader to chose the front end they’re comfortable with and they should also be able to use Sting with it.”
Sting is a smart router for U.S. equity options, using an algorithm to sweep the six U.S. options exchanges simultaneously to find liquidity and price improvement. Sting offers direct connections to each of the options exchanges.
“Sting is certified for RealTick to route to as a FIX message into the algorithm and the algorithm takes over and we are the executing broker…On Point executes and then sends the details back,” adds Carrozzo.
