According to reports, Richard Evans, formerly head of electronic trading at Citi, will be joining Morgan Stanley to head up its automated execution business in the European equity markets.

Evans is said to be joining the Morgan Stanley in early September and will oversee European strategy for the Delta One trading system.

Evans was previously head of Citi's electronic execution business globally out of London, a position he took in July of 2007. But in November of 2008 the bank said restructuring had made Evans' role redundant and he left Citi.
